Haris Ahmed is a Partner with Tandem Group and specializes in working with senior executives on the design and leadership of large-scale organizational change. He has more than 18 years of consulting experience in the areas of organization design, large-scale change, and leadership effectiveness. He also combines deep experience in talent management with a distinctive facilitation style that builds stakeholder acceptance of the change.

 

Previously, Haris was a Principal with Oliver Wyman Delta, Organization and Leadership, consulting with CEOs on strategic organization design, change and leadership. Before Oliver Wyman Delta, he was a Senior Consultant with Hewitt Associates leading consulting interventions in organizational change and talent management. He has also worked as a Consultant for Watson Wyatt Worldwide in their Organization Effectiveness practice and for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Management Consulting practice. 

Haris’ recent clients include: Allstate Corporation, Booz Allen Hamilton, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, City of Chicago, Corsolutions, Inland Real Estate Corporation, Independence Blue Cross, Highmark, Johnson & Johnson, MGM MIRAGE, Motorola, PNC Bank, NewEdge, Sabreliner, SEDCO, United Airlines, and WMS Gaming. 

Some of Haris’ recent work includes serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO of a privately-held asset management company based in the Middle East, developing a high-performance organization framework for a Fortune 100 high-tech company, and serving on the President’s Commission to reorganize the management structure of the U.S. Postal Service. Haris has also successfully completed dozens of talent strategy and design assessments, including detailed design of competencies, talent review and succession planning. He has extensive experience in designing optimal talent frameworks for growth and innovation.

Haris has an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and BA in economics and international relations from New York University. He has spoken at industry forums and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Notre Dame.
